Thank you for purchasing JRFC02 car kit. Please read the following instructions to learn how to configure and use the device more effectively.

If your car has AUX interface, you can ignore the FM frequency display window, after power on, and insert the 3.5mm audio cable to car AUX, pair it with your mobile phone, then it can be used as a Bluetooth receiver;

If there is no AUX in the car, please disregard the 3.5mm audio cable, after power on, adjust the frequency of the device and car FM radio to the same, then pair it with your mobile phone, now it can be used as one Bluetooth FM transmitter.

INTRODUCTION

The JRFC02 can be easily paired with your phone via Bluetooth, transmitting a digital audio signal to your car stereo or other speakers by FM RADIO or AUX, the integrated microphone and Multi-function button (MFB) allow you to answer to phone calls hands-free.

JRFC02 is Bluetooth 3.0 compliant and it is compatible with almost all Bluetooth compliant devices A2DP profiles, such as mobile phones, tablets or computers.

PRODUCT OUTLOOK   

AUX transmission:

SETTING UP AND PAIRING YOUR BLUETOOTH Receiver

1.     Find a suitable place on your car dash board, stick the magnetic base firmly on the dash board;

2.     Connect the 3.5mm audio jack with your car’s audio input(AUX)port and ignore the FM frequency display window.

3.     Plug the USB connector into USB power source, (a car cigarette charger is included in the package, you can use it to power JRFC02, or you can use your car’s current USB port),

4.     Upon power connected, the  JRFC02  will automatically power on and enter into pairing mode when driver starts the engine.

5.     Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and search for new device. Upon a new device being found (JRFC02), press the device&39;s name to pair.* the default pairing code is 0000.*

MUSIC CONTROL

• Play/Pause music: Press once on the (3) multi-function button

• Next track: Press once on (2) “Next” button

• Previous track: Press once on (1) “Previous” button

• Volume up: Press and hold on (2) “Next” button. When to maximum volume, there will be one "BEEP"

• Volume down: Press and hold on (1) “Previous” button. When to minimum volume, there will be one "BEEP"

PHONE CALL CONTROL

• Answering a call - Upon Incoming call, Press the (3) multi-function button once

-         During answering, press and hold the (3) multi-function button 2 seconds for phone and hand-free mode switch

-         Switch between the two calls, double press the (3) multi-function button

• Ending a call - During a call, Press the (3) multi-function button once

• Refusing a call - Upon Incoming call, Press and hold the (3) multi-function button for at least 2 seconds

• Redialing the last number - Double press the (3) multi-function button

6.     Now you can disregard the 3.5mm audio cable, and do above 1,3,4,5 steps

7.     Turn on the car FM radio, comply the FM frequency of the product with the car FM radio, the music will be out via the original car radio system.

8.     Tune your radio to an unused FM frequency, and then adjust the frequency of JRFC02 to the same.

9.     Frequency adjustment, press once(4) FM button to enter mode on LED display window, then short press “Previous(1) “or “Next(2) “to adjust frequency-/+ in the range of 87.5-108MHZ.; Tuned to the target frequency, the screen flashes four times (about 5 seconds )after the fixed, the screen to stop flashing, automatically exit FM frequency adjustment.

The operations of MUSIC CONTROL and PHONE CALL CONTROL are the same as above.

CONNECTION AND USE

- To pair with another device, turn off your first device’s Bluetooth

- In case the connection has been lost, it can be re-established manually by follow the procedure above.

- The additional USB port on the car cigarette charger can be used to charge your phone or other device. The maximum output is 5V 2.1A, so make sure it’s suitable for your device before connect them up.*

AUTO-CONNECTIVITY

- The JRFC02 car kit will automatically connect to the last connected device when powered on; but the time of Auto connect is not more than 10 seconds, so in order to automatically connect to your mobile phone every time, you should first open your mobile phone’s Bluetooth before JRFC02 is powered on

- If it is not automatically connected in 10 seconds, then you have to manual connection

Power-off Memory

For your convenience, every time that is powered off, usually the Bluetooth FM transmitter will automatically memorize the frequency in use and the point where the music has stopped, and will resume playing from that point when powered on next time. But when the storage devices have been changed or removed, or when errors have been detected, the system will automatically restore the default settings.

NOTE

1.     To improve sound effects, please select frequencies other than the strong radio frequencies to avoid interference.

2.     The Bluetooth operation methods can vary with different mobile phones.

3.     If the system is restarted after powered off, some mobile phone may not resume Bluetooth connection automatically. Manual connection is needed.

4.     In phone calling mode, the volume shall be moderate to avoid affecting the other end of the call.

Trouble shooting

-         Not working or no display when plug into car cigar lighter

Check if it is loose for the USB connection or car charger to the cigarette socket, or if the cigarette socket is heavy rusty. Pull out the device from cigarette socket and plug into again.

-         Cannot automatically connect with your mobile phone

Please try other mobile phone, to confirm whether it is the problem of your mobile phone.

-         Muting but not voice

If player is on “PAUSE” state, if volume is “0” or on very low position

-         Bluetooth function failure

If it is out of Bluetooth range or other equipment interference

-         Without the sound effect prompt; sound effect quality variation

Check if the FM frequency is empty, otherwise the signals may be interfered or the covers of your mobile phone may affect the Bluetooth signals transmission too.

-         No sound from car audio

Check if the device is on transmitting state or the transmitting frequency is same as the receiving frequency

-         Transmit effect is not good, with noise

Check if the preset channel has strong signals; try to change the channel without signal interference
