Instructions for use:
Thank you for choosing U / V Pocket Yagi. This antenna allows radio stations to increase communication distance, optimize signal quality, and improve anti-jamming capabilities. The unique gain directivity of its Yagi structure can also provide radio direction finding capability for radio stations. It is suitable for radio communications, wildlife tracking and direction finding, and radio interference investigation. The antenna is designed as a foldable main beam, retractable vibrator, and is extremely portable. It is easy to store and expand quickly, and is a good assistant for outdoor radio work.
Antenna parameters:
1. Frequency range: VHF 76-350Mhz / UHF 250-500Mhz
2. Antenna gain: UHF 8DBI, VHF 6DBI
3. Withstand power: 25W
Instructions:
The antenna has been equipped with UHF section vibrators. The vibrator unit near the grip is the reflection unit, the vibrator unit in the middle is the excitation unit, and the vibrator unit away from the grip is the guidance unit. Then adjust the length of the vibrator.
UHF (430-440Mhz) tuning method:
The lead unit does not pull out, the excitation unit pulls out the thinnest section, and the reflection unit pulls out the thinnest section and half. So far, the UHF band 430-440Mhz section has been tuned.
UHF (409 public frequencies):
The leading unit pulls the thinnest section, the excitation unit pulls the thinnest section two, and the reflection unit pulls the thinnest section three.
VHF (144-148Mhz) tuning method:
The excitation unit pulls out two and one third sections, and the reflection unit pulls out three sections.
FM broadcast frequency (76-108, 98 MHz from center frequency)
The excitation unit pulls out the finest 4 sections, and the reflection unit pulls out the thinnest 5 sections.
The above are the adjustment parameters covering common frequencies. If you need to use it at other frequency points, please adjust by yourself with equipment such as the Tianfen Standing Wave Meter.
Precautions:
When receiving a ground target, hold the grip, extend the arm flat, and vibrator unit perpendicular to the ground. If the oscillator is parallel to the ground, it will affect the gain lobe and make it form an angle with the ground, which is not conducive to long-distance ground communication. If you extend the feeder with an adapter, please adjust the length of the vibrator as appropriate.
Advanced gameplay:
Click the link below to view the forecast of the uv section of the atmospheric waveguide, and use the Yagi antenna to align it to the horizon. It can carry out long-distance communication. The record of the longest connection of this antenna reaches 600km.
